Scaffolding 5'x5' End
5' x 5' Scaffolding End Frames are the core structural components for building high-capacity outdoor towers. Built from high-strength, powder-coated steel, these frames provide the vertical support and ladder-rung access points necessary for masonry, siding, and commercial construction. Their standardized design allows for rapid stacking and secure integration with cross-braces to create a rigid, professional-grade work platform.
Configuration & Safety
- Modular Stacking: Frames lock together using high-strength coupling pins. Use Half-Sections (3' High) in conjunction with full frames for precise height adjustments in restricted areas.
- OSHA Compliance (The 4:1 Rule): Once the tower height exceeds four times its base width (20 feet for a standard 5' base), outriggers or structural ties are required to prevent tipping.
- Fall Protection: A complete guardrail system—including top rails, mid-rails, and toeboards—is mandatory for any platform 10 feet or higher.
- Foundation: Frames must be set on Base Plates or Leveling Jacks atop mud sills to ensure a level, stable footprint on outdoor terrain.
